Mr. Jonathan Harris, Northern Valley Regional High School District Supervisor of Related Arts, is proud to announce:

On January 5th, the Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest's Music Department hosted their first 8th Grade Instrumental Day in the NVD auditorium.   Instrumentalists from all three middle schools were given a chance to live a day in the life of our wonderful music department.  The students had the opportunity to rehearse with all of our high school ensembles. They also received indiviualiezd instruction from our current members. The Wind Symphony and String Orchestra performed in the afternoon and we concluded the event with a joint performance with all participants.

On Friday, January 6th, Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan’s Wind Symphony and Orchestra under the direction of Ms. Amy Wilcox, hosted their first Instrumental Music Day for almost one-hundred  8th grade band and orchestra students from Charles DeWolf, Harrington Park, Northvale and Norwood Public Schools. Instrumentalists from the four sending towns had the chance to rehearse with and perform along side of the NVOT students.

We thank all of the participating students for a wonderful day!
