Demarest Boys Basketball defeats Bergenfield on the road. With this win the team Captures The Boys Basketball Big North National Division Championship outright. What makes it more special is the team had to win their last three Road league games which ended on the road tonight at Bergenfield on Senior night. It doesn’t get much more difficult than that. The team is now 17-5 on the season and finishes 8-2 in Divisional Play in one of the best boys basketball divisions in North Jersey.
Congratulations to The Demarest Girls Bowling team on capturing The Big North National Division Championship for the FIFTH year in a row. The team has also won 41 straight league matches during that time frame. The team improves to 14-0 on the season. What a remarkable run.
Demarest Girls Basketball defeats Bergenfield and is now 18-6 on the season which is the second most wins in a season in school history. A young team with a lot of underclassman coming back.
Demarest wrestling defeats Ridgewood 48-32. The team improves to 14-12 on the season. The team has a match versus River Dell on Friday and a quad on Saturday to end their regular season. A team that got significantly better from the beginning of the season until the end of the season and returns a lot of underclassman next year.
