Congratulations to the NVD DECA team on an incredible performance at the state level competition this year!
16 individuals/teams placed in the top 10 of all students in NJ, which is an amazing feat!
Jonah Wagner, sophomore, took third overall in his event.
Claire Song, senior, took second overall in her event!
Seniors Matt Sands, Lauren Tong, and Zoe Zwecker planned and implemented a project reminding students not to text and drive. This group wrote a 20 page paper in addition to their project and scored third in the state as well.
Ari Karageorge, Claire Song, Ron Rozenthal, Alex Jacob, Arnav Sherpuri, and Lauren Freyre and the team of Amadeo Bonde & Meesum Panjwani qualified for nationals, which means they took top six in their event.
Senior Ron Rozenthal qualified for the International Career Development Conference in two different events and has to make the difficult decision of deciding which event he will compete in at the national level!
Finally, juniors Lauren Brolin and Roni Cohen earned a gold certification for the school store and therefore will also be competing at nationals for the School Based Enterprise.
